That looks like fun. Is it much trouble doing this in empty parking lots? I will be new to snow driving, and thinking about taking my car to get acquainted with this powdery substance.

my advice: practice, practice, practice. Even as a 15+ veteran of utah driving, I still go out into parking lots and practice whenever we get a big storm. I want to know how the snow is sticking, what my stopping distances will be like, turning, etc. Also, to have fun. In Utah its pretty darn easy to find good places to hoon, there is an LDS church ever 2 minutes and they all have big empty lots that dont get plowed as often, plus the churches are generally cool to a little light hooning...in fact you will probably have company on a real snowy day. Bonus points - even if the police see you hooning, you are on private property and unless the land owners called and want to press charges...there isn't much they can do about your good times.

Thanks for the advice. I'm a little nervous about getting out there, but really interested to how snow driving is. I like to be as knowledgable about driving as I can. I'll have to practice once snow falls.
